Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Hilo, HI Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,811 to $2,006 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title HI-CVU RN - Varied Shift (3/23) City/State: Hilo, Hawaii Shift: 8 Hour Days, 08:00:00-16:00:00 Contract Length: 91 weeks Start Date: 03/23/2026 Job Description: A Registered Nurse is needed for the Progressive Care Unit, a 15-bed unit with 3 Step-down ICU beds and 12 telemetry beds. Responsibilities include providing primary nursing care, telemetry monitoring, telemetry strip reading, and performing fingerstick blood sugar tests. Equipment utilized includes Meditech charting, Pyxis for medications, BIPAP, and continuous cardiac monitoring. Responsibilities: Provide primary nursing care Monitor telemetry and read telemetry strips Perform fingerstick blood sugar tests Requirements: At least 1 year of hospital acute care experience within the last year Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred Hawaii nursing license required by start of assignment ACLS, current PALS, and NIHSS certification preferred Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Core Mandatory Part I Core Mandatory Part II (Nursing) Core Mandatory Part III NIHSS PCU Progressive Care RN RN Pharmacology
