HPM Building Supply in Hilo, Hawaii is seeking to hire a full-time Receiving Specialist to save the day by ensuring that we are receiving the products and supplies our customers need. This position is the first to respond when shipment arrives and ensures our orders are correct. We work with people who live and breathe building materials, so we need someone that is ready to be the hero they need!

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A RECEIVING SPECIALIST
A Receiving Specialist is responsible for efficiently and accurately shipping and receiving of freight through internal/external freight carriers in a fast-paced work environment. It is critical to receive and merchandise incoming products and complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
You put the "zing" in amazing. You're a customer service superhero. When you wear your HPM uniform shirt, you know it's really a cape, and safety is your superpower. You go above and beyond to ensure that our customers have a great experience with us, and our warehouse operations run smoothly.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Forklift certification or ability to be forklift certified
Ability to work in our outdoor warehouse in various weather conditions
Ability to be on your feet for several hours at a time and lift 50 lbs
Building materials knowledge is helpful, but not required. Are you a bird or a plane? No? Good, because that's not what we need! Do you have great problem-solving abilities?
