You will be surrounded by varying levels of Scientists, you will have the support to succeed, as well as the opportunity to assist the progress of others.Research Scientist Responsibilities:

• Work independently on research projects within area of specialization
• Assess market and competitor opportunities for addition of new programs
• Design research approaches for a major portion of research project(s), including background research, experimental design and execution, problem-solving, and writing up for publication
• Maintain an accurate and detailed scientific logbook of all experiments performed - Ensuring that others could duplicate results
• Develop, adapt, and implement new research techniques and protocols
• Collaborate with Computational Biologists, Machine Learning Scientists, and Software Engineers to build analysis pipelines
• Present in lab meetings and conferencesResearch Scientist Qualifications:
  • PhD (or equivalent industry experience) in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, chemistry, or a related field
  • Knowledge of iFlow cytometry (CyTOF is preferred but not essential), processing clinical samples especially those obtained from prospective clnical trials, cell culture
  • Broad, expert-level knowledge of next-generation sequencing assays for DNA and RNA
  • Ability to design assays for automated platforms and experience working with liquid handlers
  • Experience working in a regulated laboratory environment (CLIA, GLP/GCLP, IVD development)
