Job Description American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Hilo, Hawaii. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with at least 3 years of labor and delivery experience for a variable shift Obstetrics position in Hawaii requiring a HI RN license. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in hospital-based Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units - Patient population includes laboring mothers, newborns, and postpartum mothers - Unit includes 8 labor beds and 18 postpartum beds - Variable schedule with both day and night 12-hour shifts following orientation - Scheduled 12 hours of call at least once per month - Uses Meditech EMR and GE/Centricity fetal monitoring systems - Responsibilities include caring for laboring mothers, assisting with deliveries, and immediate postpartum care for mothers and newborns - Must plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start date to complete required health screening - COVID-19 vaccination may be required per hospital policy - First week includes orientation before beginning regular 12-hour shifts /n /n Requirements/n - Active HI RN license required by assignment start - Minimum 3 years of recent labor and delivery experience required - Current BLS and NRP certifications required - STABLE and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications recommended - Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-661431.
