Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Hilo, Hawaii. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 05/04/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg Adult Stepdown /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM /n• Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation /n• No guarantee of hours /n• Float between various medical and surgical units including Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions) /n• 2-10 years of nursing experience required /n• Hawaii nursing license required by start of assignment /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS /n• Preferred certifications: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC /n• Work with Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes /n• Nurse to patient ratios vary by unit: Medical 1:8 for nights, Laulima 1:6, Cardiovascular 1:4 /n• Professional nursing attire required - clean scrubs /n• Must arrive Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday /n• Orientation provided for each unit /n/n Facility: /n This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility offering a wide range of medical and surgical services.
