Ultrasound Tech Location: Hilo, HI Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $2,200 to $2,400 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $55.00 - $60.00/Hourly. Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations including general abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and small parts imaging. The technologist operates ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images, assists physicians in diagnosis, and ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures. Responsibilities: Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures. Explain procedures to patients and address concerns. Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and comfort. Operate and maintain ultrasound machines and probes. Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions. Perform routine quality control checks.
