Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Hilo, Hawaii. Job
Description & Requirements - Specialty: Psychiatric - Discipline:
RN - Start Date: 05/11/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 39 hours per
week - Shift: 8 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel HI State
RN License Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty BLS
Coordinates nursing care for patients with behavioral health
issues. Participates in patient and family teaching. Administrates
medications and treatment. Uses EMR, Meditech. 2 years experience
in behavioral health nursing. BLS, NCI or other crisis prevention
training. Charge Nurse Assignment 8 hour rotating shifts, must be
available to work weekends and holidays. There is no floating to
other departments. 12 beds. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit:
team model Dress Code: clean and professional attire Orientation
Program: assigned to a mentor for orientation. Medical & Health
