Job Title: GI Lab Scrub Tech / OR Technologist Job Type: Contract Urgency: Normal Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced GI Lab Scrub Tech / OR Technologist for a contract assignment supporting endoscopy procedures. This role involves assisting with procedural setup, maintaining sterile technique, supporting physicians during cases, and ensuring efficient room turnover in a fast-paced procedural environment. Assignment Details: - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Schedule: Variable shifts based on department needs - Typical hours: Approximately 40 hours per week (may be reduced during holiday weeks) - Department coverage operates across extended daily hours - Call requirement: Assigned call approximately 1–2 times per week plus up to two weekends per month - Call response time: 20 minutes - EMR: EPIC - Holiday coverage required Key Responsibilities: - Independently scrub and assist with endoscopy procedures - Prepare procedure rooms and maintain sterile field - Assist physicians during GI/endoscopy cases - Perform room turnover cleaning between procedures - Transport patients when needed - Ensure proper equipment setup and availability - Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety protocols Requirements: - Active state license required by start of assignment (must apply upon offer if not currently active) - Minimum 2 years of scrubbing experience in a hospital setting - Experience supporting endoscopy procedures required - Ability to work variable shifts and participate in call rotation - Strong knowledge of sterile technique and procedural workflow Required Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) Additional Requirements: - Must complete onboarding and required employee health appointment prior to start Specialty: Nursing / Surgical Services Sub-Specialty: Operating Room Scrub Tech / OR Technologist Please note: Only candidates who meet all minimum qualifications and required certifications will be considered./n About World Nurses World Nurses specializes in the staffing of non-skilled and skilled healthcare personnel.
