Job Title: Long Term Care Registered Nurse (LTC RN) – Varied Shifts Job Type: Contract Urgency: Normal Job Summary: We are seeking a Long Term Care Registered Nurse (LTC RN) for a contract assignment in a long-term care unit located within a hospital setting. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, including clinical assessments, treatments, medication administration, and coordination with the care team. Assignment Details: - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 8-hour varied shifts (including weekends and holidays) - Schedule flexibility required — no guaranteed hours or shift preference - Setting: Long Term Care / Intermediate Care - EMR: EPIC - Holiday coverage required Key Responsibilities: - Perform patient assessments and develop care plans - Administer medications and treatments - Communicate pertinent changes in condition to MD/NP - Manage admissions and discharges - Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) - Provide specialized care including: - Gastrostomy tube care - Urinary catheter care - Nebulizer treatments - Wound vac management - CPAP support - Tracheostomy care - Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care Requirements: - Active State RN license required by start of assignment (must apply upon offer if not currently active) - Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care or related nursing experience - Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays - Must complete required onboarding and employee health appointment prior to start Required Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) Specialty: Nursing Sub-Specialty: Registered Nurse – Long Term Care Only applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and possess the required certifications are eligible to apply./n About World Nurses World Nurses specializes in the staffing of non-skilled and skilled healthcare personnel.
