Compensation - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,800 - $1,890/week Job Details - Location: Hilo, HI 96720 — Hilo nursing jobs, Hawaii healthcare, Big Island travel nurse opportunity - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026) - Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15) - Hours per Week: 36 hours (following orientation week) - Setting: Cardiac Stepdown / Telemetry with float flexibility to Medical, Surgical Acute (Laulima), and Cardiovascular Units - Unit Details: Medical (77 beds), Laulima (18 beds), Cardiovascular (15 beds) - Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Medical: 1:8 (nights), Laulima: 1:6, Cardiovascular: 1:4 (may vary) - Dress Code: Professional nursing attire – clean scrubs - Orientation: Comprehensive unit-specific orientation provided Required Qualifications (Cardiac / Telemetry RN) - Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in stepdown, telemetry, or similar acute care setting — cardiac nursing experience preferred - Active RN license — Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date (compact license holders: verify state requirements) - BLS required; ACLS preferred.
