Roles & Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic exams and produce high-quality images to support accurate diagnoses Operate and maintain radiographic equipment including Philips DR and C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR Ensure patient safety by following radiation safety protocols and wearing/monitoring a dosimeter badge Document procedures and patient information accurately in the EMR (Meditech and Epic experience is a plus) Function independently as a competent technologist and collaborate with clinical teams to optimize patient care Provide compassionate patient interaction, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and dignity Support quality assurance and equipment checks to keep imaging services running smoothly Qualifications Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by the start of assignment (if not active, candidate must apply upon acceptance) ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must have and use a dosimeter badge Minimum of 2 years' experience as a radiologic technologist Ability to work varied day/evening shifts and handle occasional on-call responsibilities Knowledge & Skills Strong hands-on radiography skills and radiologic imaging techniques Knowledge of radiation safety and protocols Proficiency with radiographic equipment operation and C-arm fluoroscopy Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arm, OEC C-arm and Konica DR Familiarity with Meditech and Epic EMR systems for image/documentation workflow Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments Benefits Generous housing stipend to help you settle in Travel reimbursement and support getting to the island for onboarding Licensure assistance and reimbursement to help with Hawaii license requirements Medical, Dental & Vision coverage 401K retirement savings plan Paid Time Off to recharge A supportive team that values YOU and your professional growth Opportunities for cross-training on Philips, OEC, Konica systems Travel Perks: Explore Hilo, HI Hilo on the Big Island is a scenic playground: explore Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, enjoy Rainbow Falls and Akaka Falls, stroll through Liliuokalani Gardens, and shop the Hilo Farmer's Market.
