Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, flexible - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS credentials and a minimum of 3 years' acute hospital experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital imaging department performing general, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular ultrasound exams - Patient populations include adult, pediatric, and neonatal - Procedures include abdominal, GYN, OB, neonatal head, superficial structures, vascular studies, biopsies, aspirations, drainage, and intraoperative scans - Uses Canon i700 ultrasound system, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS - Variable 40-hour per week shifts with on-call as appropriate - May float to other units or departments as needed - Personal scrubs or healthcare professional attire required - Employee Health appointment required 48-72 hours prior to assignment start - Plan to arrive on island Thursday before a Monday start to complete compliance process - Call responsibilities vary depending on department needs /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 3 years' acute care hospital experience as an ultrasound technologist - Current ARDMS credentials in AB, OB, and RVT required - Active AHA BLS certification required - Proficiency in abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, small parts, and neonatal ultrasound studies - Ability to perform ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsies and aspirations - License required if applicable /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-670253.
