06-15-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract Shift Type:
Monday-Friday, shifts scheduled within 6:45 AM - 11:15 PM (variable
day/evening shifts based on department needs); standard 40
hours/week (possibility of 32 hours on holidays); 24/7 on-call
coverage with average 1-2 call assignments/week plus up to 2
weekends/month — response time within 30 minutes (must live within
30-minute radius) Hours per Week: 40 Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per

Responsibilities Circulate surgical cases across a wide range of
specialties, ensuring smooth, safe procedures Lead turnover
cleaning between cases to keep OR suites efficient and ready
Transport patients safely to and from the operating room when
needed Schedule and help coordinate cases so the day runs like a
well-conducted orchestra Independently circulate for General,
Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic,
Obstetrics and Gynecology procedures Use Meditech and PYXIS
accurately to document care and manage supplies Respond to on-call
requests promptly and professionally to support continuous patient
care Promote patient safety, infection control, and excellent
perioperative nursing standards Qualifications State of Hawaii RN
license (required) Current BLS certification (required) Minimum 2
to 3 years of experience circulating cases in a hospital setting
Ability to scrub cases is preferred (scrub experience a plus)
Familiarity with Meditech and PYXIS preferred Must be able to
respond to on-call within 30 minutes — reside within a 30-minute
radius of the hospital Willingness to complete orientation and meet
minimum shift requirements if RTO is requested (minimum of 39
shifts during contract if applicable) Knowledge & Skills
Perioperative nursing and OR circulating best practices Patient
transport and turnover cleaning procedures Case scheduling and OR
flow optimization Hands-on familiarity with Meditech and PYXIS
systems Comfort supporting robotic and endoscopic procedures
Experience across a range of surgical specialties (General,
Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT,
Obstetrics/Gynecology) Strong communication, teamwork, and the
ability to stay calm under pressure On-call responsiveness and
