Radiology Tech Location: Hilo, HI Agency: Acruex Health Pay:
$1,872 to $2,016 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12
hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the
Position Pay Rate: $52.00 - $56.00/Hourly. Summary: We are looking
for an organized, detail-oriented radiologic technologist to be
responsible for operating imaging equipment for diagnostic
purposes. The radiologic technologist's responsibilities include
following physicians' orders regarding the area of the body to
scan, positioning patients and equipment, and answering patients'
questions. Responsibilities: Preparing examination rooms for
patient examinations. Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain
clear, usable images. Positioning patients and equipment,
explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.
Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and
specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to
adjust the density or contrast. Monitoring patients during
examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to
prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation. Producing diagnostic
images, reporting important information to the Physician, and
updating patients' records. Requirements Requirements: 2 - Year
experience Required, BLS Certification, ARRT Certification, HI
State license. General Requirements: A minimum of two (2) years as
a radiologic technologist. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency
in the operation of radiographic equipment; functions independently
without supervision. Knowledge of radiation safety and protocols.
Must have dosimeter badge. Experience with Meditech EMR, Philips
DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR preferred. Benefits
