Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Hilo, HI Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,098 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – PACU Registered Nurse – Hawaii Start Date: February 9, 2026 Location: Hawaii Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Shifts vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours; may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. On-call requirements 0-3 times per month (8-hour nights and 24-hour weekends/holidays). No guarantee of specific hours or shift preference. Highlights: Provide expert post-anesthesia care in Phase I and Phase II recovery settings Work with advanced equipment including Meditech EMR, PCA pumps, Pyxis, Braun IV pumps, and Phillips/HP monitors Utilize critical care skills to monitor incision sites, body temperature, and patient stability indicators Flexible shift structure across ASU and PACU units Travel nursing assignment in a beautiful island location Support diverse surgical patient populations in both adult and potential pediatric cases Requirements: Active Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date (must apply upon offer acceptance if not currently licensed) Minimum 2 years of PACU experience OR critical care experience (ER or ICU) in a hospital setting Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association PALS certification recommended and may be required for specific positions Specialty certifications such as NIHSS and TNCC preferred Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start Must arrive the Thursday before start date for Friday employee health clearance appointment Why It's a Great Opportunity: This PACU position offers the chance to apply advanced critical care and anesthesiology knowledge in a dynamic post-surgical environment.
