Opportunities are open across different locations, making it easy to take the next step in your career—wherever you’re based in the U.S. Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care | Contract | Varied Shifts We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility located on a hospital campus . This role is ideal for an RN who is flexible with scheduling, comfortable with a broad scope of clinical responsibilities, and committed to delivering high-quality resident care. Position Details: Job Type: Contract Assignment Length: 13 weeks Number of Openings: 1 Position Urgency: Normal Schedule: 8-hour varied shifts, including weekends and holidays Flexibility required; no guarantee of hours or shift preference Specialty: Nursing Sub-Specialty: Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC) Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive resident assessments and ongoing evaluations Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and care plans Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Provide and manage specialized care, including: Gastrostomy tube (G-tube) care Urinary catheter care Nebulized treatments Wound vacuum (Wound Vac) therapy CPAP and tracheostomy care Communicate pertinent resident information to physicians and nurse practitioners Complete admissions and discharges Accurately document patient care and clinical activities using the electronic medical record Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care Required Qualifications: Active Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be active by the start of the assignment; travelers must apply upon offer acceptance if not already licensed) Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (LTC experience preferred) Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work independently and adapt to changing unit needs Certifications: BLS/BCLS Additional Information: Holiday coverage is required EMR system used: EPIC Candidates must be able to arrive prior to assignment start to complete required employee health onboarding This opportunity is ideal for an RN seeking a flexible LTC contract with hands-on clinical exposure in a hospital-based setting.
