nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Hilo, Hawaii.

Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed
for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside
experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5
weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the
initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n
Opportunity: /n RN - PCU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 36 hours per
week following first week of orientation /n• No guaranteed hours
and no call requirements /n• Work in 15-bed Progressive Care Unit
with 3 step-down ICU beds and 12 telemetry beds /n• Patient ratios:
1:4 for Progressive Care and 1:3 for Step-down ICU /n• Provide
primary nursing care, telemetry monitoring, and telemetry strip
reading /n• Perform fingerstick blood sugar monitoring /n• Utilize
Meditech charting system and Pyxis for medications /n• Work with
BIPAP and continuous cardiac monitoring equipment /n• Float to all
acute units including Medical, Surgical/Pediatric, ICU, and ER as
needed /n• Minimum 1 year hospital acute care experience within the
last year required /n• Progressive Care and telemetry experience
preferred /n• ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications preferred /n•
Must possess active Hawaii nursing license by start date /n• Scrubs
dress code required /n• Must arrive Thursday before start date for
Friday employee health appointment /n/n Facility: /n This medical
