in Hilo, Hawaii, 96720! Job Opportunity – Medical Surgical
Registered Nurse – Hawaii Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location:
Hawaii Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 13-week contract, 36 hours per week
following orientation. Various shift lengths and days required.
Flexibility essential. Highlights: Medical unit with 77-bed
capacity serving diverse patient populations Nurse-to-patient ratio
of 1:8 on nights Meditech EMR system with Pyxis medication
management Exposure to chest tubes, wound vac therapy, and general
medical procedures Comprehensive orientation program provided May
float to cardiovascular and other medical units for professional
growth Requirements: Active Hawaii State RN license (must be
obtained by start date if not currently held) 2-10 years of medical
surgical nursing experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exception
prior to start Ability to arrive Thursday before start date for
Friday employee health appointment Professional nursing attire
