Progressive Care Unit. 15 bed unit. 3 Step down ICU; 12 telemetry.-- 1:4 for Progressive Care; 1:3 for Step down ICU Shift or schedule requirements . Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation.-- No guarantee of hours. no Call. G eneral job duties. Types of procedures required. Primary Nursing care, Telemetry monitoring, Telemetry strip reading, Fingerstick blood sugar.-- Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Meditech charting,-- Pyxis for medications,-- BIPAP,-- Continuous cardiac monitoring Required skills and minimum years of experience. At least 1 year hospital acute care within the last year.-- Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. ACLS preferred, current PALS preferred, NIHSS certification preferred Floating to other units/departments. Yes, will float to all acute units in house.
