division intends to add the Sea Based X-Band (SBX) Radar Mission
Integration (SBX-MI) program to our extensive experience of
existing Operations and Maintenance/Sustainment (O&M/S)
programs that includes: The COBRA DANE Radar O&M/S program
located at Eareckson Air Station Shemya, AlaskaThe Hues Air Defense
Radar (HADR) Sustainment program that includes two radars located
in TaiwanThe Mobile Sensors COBRA KING Radar and Communication
O&M/S program located onboard the United States Naval Ship
Howard OLorenzen operating in the PACOM AORThe NATO Hues Air
Defense Radar Sustainment program that includes seven radars
located in six countriesThe SBX-MI program performs Operations &
Sustainment (O&S) onboard an advanced radar system mounted on a
modified oil-drilling vessel designed for exceptional stability in
high winds and storms within the PACOM AOR that supports the
Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS)In performance of this
mission, Vertex Sensors & Advanced Solutions division is seeking a
Mission Director onboard the SBX-1 platform within the PCAOM
AORResponsibilities Duties & Responsibilities: Deconflicts
satellites and space corridors with the Unified Space Vault (USV)
and coordinates with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to
establish Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) for Radiation Hazard (RADHAZ)
keep out zonesWorks in close concert with the Missile Defense
Agency (MDA), the 100th Brigade and the 49th Battalion to execute
test procedures detailed in the Integrated Master Test Plan
(IMTP)Ensures transitions to and from test and operational baseline
configurations as requiredSupports the BMD Asset Management process
through BMDS Operational Schedule (BOS) and Weekly Activity Message
(WAM) preparation, integrating relevant radar operations and radar
maintenance activitiesCoordinates platform system maintenance that
has the potential of impacting radar performance and ensures that
recovery times can be met for the appropriate Readiness Condition
(REDCON)Conducts operational reporting in accordance with PACFLT
OPORD 201, and directly communicates with Warfighters, government
agencies and test organizations via radio, telephone, message,
email or chatSynergizes SBX-1 payloads in support of the Ballistic
Missile Defense System (BMDS) mission execution of both test and
real world contingency operations, maintenance planning and
authorization, vessel movements, shipyard planning, crew rotation
scheduling, material movements, and test event
coordinationResponsible for establishing and maintaining contact
with Government agencies to integrate, facilitate, and de-conflict
vessel movements, satellite availability, asset status, increase in
REDCON, and areas of operationCoordinates SBX-1 radar operations,
de-conflicting operations, obtaining permissions, executing
checklist, coordinating safety precautions, vessel conditions,
monitoring radar operations, and returning to normal vessel
operationsParticipates in test event planning; dynamic vessel
positioning; coordinating test schedules; preparing inputs for test
plans; reviewing test plans and procedures; conducting test events;
processing of test event personnel and equipment; and preparing
formal reportsQualifications Required Qualifications: 10 years of
experience working in an Operational Environment supporting
military missionsActive SECRET clearance Experience deconflicting
schedules in a complex operating environment and many different
organizationsExcellent written communication, interpersonal,
problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational
skillsAbility to effectively manage competing priorities is a
mustApplicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a
teamLeadership and mentoring experience with proven
resultsExperience working in a maritime environmentDesired
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a related field is
desiredExperience performing in a deployed remote work environment
for extended periods of timePhysical Requirements: Must not be
hindered by motion sickness and must pass/maintain Maritime Medical
Exam IAW CENTCOM Mod 15 requirements Must be able to balance, bend,
lift up to 35 pounds, crouch, stretch, and kneelMust be able to
climb up to 10 flights of stairs regularly Cannot be afraid of
confined spacesCannot be afraid of heights This position is
contingent upon contract award and fundingHowever, the following
initial incentives that will remain confidential are being offered
to secure the best qualified applicants with the best experience to
the benefit of the Government that commit to the position prior to
contract award$500.00 Signed Commitment Letter Bonus - Following a
successful and accelerated selection process for the position that
will occur NLT June 2023, we will reserve the position by providing
the best qualified applicant a commitment letter and pay that
applicant $1K within 45-daysShould the contract not be awarded
and/or the selected applicant not be available, there will be no
requirement to repay this bonus$10K Contract Award Bonus - As an
